NAKSHATRA

नक्षत्र चार्ट (Nakshatra Chart)

In Vedic astrology, the Nakshatras, also known as lunar mansions, are a significant part of a person’s astrological chart. The term "Nakshatra" refers to a group of stars that form a constellation. There are 27 Nakshatras, each spanning 13 degrees and 20 minutes of the zodiac. These celestial bodies influence a person’s character, life path, and destiny. The Nakshatras are the foundation for determining the placement of planets and stars in a horoscope, offering deeper insights beyond just the twelve zodiac signs.

Each Nakshatra is ruled by a specific deity and planet, and each is divided into four parts known as Padas, which further refine an individual's astrological profile. Nakshatras play a crucial role in deciding auspicious times for activities, as well as personal traits and emotional patterns. For example, the placement of the moon in a particular Nakshatra during birth is believed to shape the person's emotional and psychological makeup.
