प्रथमे सप्तमे ग्रामे वैरं हानिस्तरिषष्ठगे।
तुर्याष्टद्वादशे रोगः शेषस्थाने शुभं भवेत्॥
Meaning of the Shloka
First and Seventh Positions: Inauspicious, leading to enmity or discord (Vaira).
Third and Sixth Positions: Inauspicious, bringing loss or harm (Hani).
Fourth, Eighth, and Twelfth Positions: Inauspicious, indicating health issues (Roga).
All Other Positions: The remaining positions are auspicious (Shubha), promoting harmony and prosperity.
Determining Relative Position
The relative position is determined by finding the Rashi number of your Name and the place's name, then counting from your Rashi to the place's Rashi.
